Dr Lukins is a highly qualified and experienced educator with a passion for helping students achieve their best. He has over 30 years of teaching experience across a wide range of subjects, levels and educational settings. His general approach is to focus on helping students to gain a fundamental and in-depth understanding of the subject material as the best outcomes flow from sound basic understanding. He has a patient and encouraging approach, tailoring his lessons to meet the individual needs of each student. His ability to explain complex ideas in readily understandable terms helps students build confidence and mastery of their subjects. His previous students have benefited greatly from private tutoring with him including enhanced interest in learning and in their subjects, considerable and measurable improvement in their grades and they have been able to achieve entry to the tertiary courses of their choice.
